On this day, Australia is celebrating the anniversary of the day, 225 years ago, when the British invaded this land, occupied and colonised it. More than 500 Indigenous nations shared this land for over 40,000 years before invasion. I would therefore, on this day, like to acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of this land on which I live, the Dharawal people. I would also like to pay respect to their Elders past and present and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. This has always been, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

u must be from QLD… you missed the rain
Haha, nej, I live in NSW.
It rained a little. But I rather like the rain… I guess I got used to it having lived in the more rainy parts of Europe (Southern England, Basse-Normandie, Poitou-Charentes). :)

Welcome home!
Thank you!
I must say, since it was pretty damn exciting, ME AND MUM SAW A BABY SEA LION IN THE WILD! :D
So... I'm back from Melbourne
Give me a little time to adjust to being back in real life.

Yep, that’s right, you heard correctly, there’s a vampire alert in Western Serbia.
As a cultural studies researcher, this is utterly tantalising…
